Isn’t She Lovely– Stevie Wonder: This song was written by Mr.When daughters are born and we hold them for the first time in our hands, we get emotional. Daughters- John Mayer: This song cannot miss this list.My Girl: The Temptations- Not technically a song about the daughters, but it works well with the daughters as it is a fun song.I've asked on tiktok, and asked on quite a few YT videos. I've searched numerous lyrics sites and searched / asked on lyrics forums. I'm at a loss, and it’s driving me crazy. I know one lyric video (on YT) of the song had a thumbnail of a picture of a cathedral type hallway with stained glass windows. I have searched all over with all kinds of word searches revolving around the words I can remember and can't find any matches. I’ve been racking my brain for the past 4 day and can’t seem to remember anymore lyrics that could be of help. It's not a popular song either like "Keys to the Kingdom" or “Look What You Made Me Do”. And it's a long song - possibly over 4 minutes.Īs far as I know, the song doesn't have the words: kingdom / keys / hallway / hall in it’s title. I think it's about over coming an enemy, from what I can remember. and I know I’m sure it mentions "kingdom and key / keys" - It's not worship or anything like that. and something about ghost stories legends told by the fire. It says something about a hallway in the first verse, could be in the first line. So, the song is by a female artist (or maybe group with a female lead singer) - Maybe Nightcore - and the lyrics are something like: "staring down the hallway" or “standing in the hallway” or “you’re in the hall (hallway?)” Kinda off topic, but I am having a lot of trouble finding a song - and this is a great song lyrics channel, so I'm asking here as a last resort: I know not a lot of details but any suggestions would be appreciated. The song starts with some soft piano playing what would be the chorus, then some lyrics sung softly, the song repeats that motif but by the end is faster and intense. All I know is it had Girls frontline in the title on youtube before it disappeared on there. Second song I know much less about because it was Japanese I think and possibly from a game called girls frontline but I've checked a lot of their songs and can't find it. Early verse as best I can recall, "When I was a little boy, and it was a rainy day, momma and daddy would meet me after school, they said son you might get chilled to the bone, walking home alone, so momma and daddy were waiting to take me home." Then the final verse best I can recall, "But fate has been unkind, and somewhere I went astray, and now in this lonely prison cell, I'm down to my last day, for they'll strap me in that chair, and I'll pay for all my wrongs, while momma and daddy wait outside, to take me home." Song No.1: Country song, Lyrics to the chorus are, "Take me home, take me home, lord I've been gone for so long, take me home, take me home, momma and daddy are waiting to take me home." I know some of the verses too but only partially.
